Some people are afraid clowns, even before the era of It. They are both sinister and entertaining,  sad and happy, a weird juxtaposition if you think about it, really. And there is something almost antique and haunted about the idea of the clown, some 18th Century fear that has been studied many times over. Marion Peck has decided for these uncertain times we live in to create a body of work titled Red Clown, Blue Clown, which will debut at Corey Helford Gallery beginnng on January 25th.
